Working calendar for the year. Russia: Production calendar (2018). year - leap year or not

In anticipation of the next calendar year, each person sooner or later thinks about what it will be like - simple or leap year? This moment acquires particular relevance in the case when we are planning an important event for the new calendar period - moving, buying real estate, a business deal or a long journey. It has long been believed among the people that years, numbering one day more than usual, are accompanied by all sorts of misfortunes and failures.

And they argue that the influence of leap years is reflected not only in the luck of ordinary citizens, but also in the development of countries and the world as a whole - the political and economic situation is aggravated, and the risks of conflicts are becoming more real. Not surprisingly, a leap year is a period in which for 366 days we are just waiting for dirty tricks (and spitting over our left shoulder more often than usual). An extra day in such a year is added due to the date February 29th.

The concept of "leap year" appeared due to the difference in calendar and astronomical calculus. Astronomers take into account in their calculations that a year (that is, the period during which the planet makes a full circle around the Sun) contains 365.25 days. In a normal calendar year, such calculations are not applicable, so it was decided that the year is equal to 365 days. However, the remainder of 0.25 days cannot just disappear, so every four years, when an “extra” day accumulates, it is added to the February calendar.

Is 2018 a leap year or not?

Determine if it will new period to be considered a leap year is quite easy. It is enough to divide the digit of the year by the number 4. If the final value turns out to be an integer, the year is a leap year, and if, as a result of the calculations, we get the remainder, then it is quite normal. Thus, we can reassure you with the information that 2018 includes only 365 days, because 18:4 gives a total of 4.5. In addition, the leap year was quite recent - in 2016, and if you observe a period of 4 years, then you need to prepare for a difficult period no earlier than 2020.

The article will help you easily cope with the calculation of the norm of working hours in 2019 with 40, 36 and 24-hour working weeks. Use the prepared table by months and quarters, study the calculation procedure.

Working hours for 2019 - how to calculate

What is normal duration working time is an important issue for both personnel officers and employees. According to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the norm is forty hours a week. This is the maximum that an employee can work out in a week, both with a five-day regime and with a six-day one.

Standard Duration labor day- 8 ocloc'k. Based on this figure, they draw up schedules and determine the balance of labor time. The monthly rate is easy to calculate based on the weekly rate. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that some categories of workers are supposed to work no more than 36 or 24 hours a week.

The number of working days (weekdays) in 2019 with a five-day work week is 247. The number of days off and public holidays- 118. Thus, the annual norm of working time for 2019 with a 40-hour working week is 1970 hours (40 hours: 5 days × 247 days - 6 hours).

How we will work and relax in 2020

The Ministry of Labor has determined how we will work and rest in 2020. The New Year holidays will be reduced, but the May holidays will be lengthened. The number of working days and hours in 2020 will increase, and the number of days that need to be reduced by one hour will also change. The experts of the "Handbook of Personnel Officer" magazine have prepared for you production calendars for 2020 for the five-day and six-day periods, download them and use them in your work.

With a shift work schedule, the duration of work still cannot exceed 40 hours per week. This is achieved by alternating days of work and rest according to the shift schedule. This order also applies to the twelve-hour day. Therefore, the norm of working time for 2019 with a shift schedule, regardless of the duration of the shift, is also - 1970 hours (40 hours: 5 days × 247 days - 6 hours).

The norm of night time per month according to the Labor Code is not established. However, when working at night, the duration of the shift should be shorter by 1 hour, that is, the employee must work a seven-hour shift. If, due to production needs, you have to work an eight-hour night shift, then the employee should be paid overtime at one and a half times.

Monthly norm of hours for 2019

The norm of working hours for 2019 by months depends on the number of weekdays. For example, in October 2019 there are 23 such days, respectively, the number of working hours per month is 184 (23 x 8).

To calculate the hourly duration of the working week (it can be 40, 39, 36.30, 24, etc.) is divided by 5 and multiplied by the number of working days in a particular month. After that, the number of hours by which the total reduction of the working day is made on the eve of the holidays is subtracted from the obtained value.

When workers stay in the office in the evenings and work on the weekends, they expect higher pay. If an irregular day is recognized as overtime work upon an employee’s complaint, you will have to accrue overtime and pay compensation for delayed payments. Read in the magazine "Handbook of Personnel Officer" how to take into account the processing of employees so as not to overpay.

It turns out that the norm of the duration of work per day or shift, depending on the length of the week, is as follows:

  • with a 40-hour work week, it will be 8 hours;
  • at 39 - 7.8;
  • at 36 - 7.2;
  • at 35 - 7;
  • at 24 - 4.8.

In 2019 pre-holiday days there will be six - February 22, March 7, April 30, May 8, June 11 and New Year's Eve December 31. The duration of work on these days, as usual, is reduced by an hour. If a weekend is moved to a weekday, that day will not be shortened.

When calculating the norms, do not forget about the transfer of days off. If it turned out that the day off and the non-working holiday coincided, the day off is transferred to the weekday following the holiday. As an exception, a special procedure may be established for the transfer of holidays that coincide with weekends. So, for example, part of the New Year holidays in last years attached to other holidays, for example, May.

Below we give examples of calculations.

Norm of hours in September 2019

In September, with a five-day working week with two days off, 21 weekdays and 9 days off.

September working hours are:

  • with a 40-hour week - 168 hours (40 hours: 5 days × 21 days);
  • at 36 - 151.2 (36 hours: 5 d × 21 d);
  • at 24 - 100.8 (24 hours: 5 d × 21 d).

Norm of hours in October 2019

In October, with a five-day work week with two days off, 23 weekdays and 8 days off.

The working hours for this month are:

  • with a 40-hour week - 184 hours (40 hours: 5 days × 23 days);
  • at 36 - 165.6 (36 h: 5 d × 23 d);
  • at 24 - 110.4 (24 h: 5 d × 23 d).

Annual norm of working hours for 2019

Similarly, you can calculate the norm of working time for the year: the duration of the working week (40, 39, 36, 30, 24, etc. hours) is divided by 5, then, after checking the calendar, we multiply by the number of working days this year. From the resulting number, subtract the number of hours by which the working time on the days preceding the non-working holidays.

Let's take a closer look at the situation in 2019. 247 weekdays will be this year with a five-day work week with two days off. Including 6 pre-holiday days shortened by one hour, 118 days off and non-working holidays.

The working hours for 2019 will be:

  • with a 40-hour week - 1970 hours (40 hours: 5 days × 247 days - 6 hours);
  • at 36 - 1772.4 (36 h: 5 d × 247 d - 6 h);
  • at 24 - 1179.6 (24 h: 5 d × 247 d - 6 h).

Calendar of working, holidays and days off for 2018

Please note that the holiday days are marked with a blue frame.

We remind you that on the eve of the holiday, working hours are reduced by 1 hour. In 2018, some pre-holiday days fall on Saturday. The fact is that according to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, weekends and holidays were postponed, which is why several Saturdays turned out to be working.

Let's figure out what has been moved and where.

Official holidays in 2017 (Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation):

  • from January 1 to January 6, as well as January 8 - New Year's holidays;
  • January 7 - Christmas;
  • February 23 - Defender of the Fatherland Day;
  • March 8 - International Women's Day;
  • May 1 - Spring and Labor Day;
  • May 9 - Victory Day;
  • June 12 - Day of Russia;
  • November 4 - National Unity Day.

As can be seen from the calendar, some holidays fall either on weekends or on days close to days off, and in order to streamline the continuity of working days and days off, the Government of the Russian Federation issued a decree dated 10/14/2017 N 1250 on the postponement of several days off. How to calculate working hours in 2018

In 2018, the rules for calculating the norm of working hours will remain the same. The calculation should be guided by the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, by order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation No. 588n dated 08/13/2009. and Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1250 dated 10/14/2017, dedicated to how holidays will be transferred in the country in 2018.

The time period for which the working time norm is calculated is a year, a quarter and a month.

Let's look at the formulas by which the norms of working hours are calculated.

Example 1 Let's calculate the norm of working hours for February 2018 with a standard forty-hour working week. There are 19 working days in February 2018. At the same time, Thursday, February 22 is a pre-holiday day, when the working time is reduced by 1 hour.

Working hours: 40: 5 * 19 - 1 = 151

For the quarter, the norm of working time is calculated according to the same formula, only it is already necessary to multiply by the number of working hours in the quarter. And the reduction of the working day on the holidays is also taken into account for the quarter.

Example 2 We calculate the norm of working hours for the 1st quarter of 2018 with a forty-hour working week.

  • Number of working days in the 1st quarter - 56;
  • The number of hours for which pre-holiday days were reduced is 2 (by 1 hour on February 22 and by 1 hour on March 7).

Working hours: 40: 5 * 56 - 2 = 446 hours

Similarly, the calculation is carried out for the whole of 2018, just annual data is already supplied.

  • Number of working days per year - 247;
  • The number of pre-holiday days is 6, which means that working hours per year will be reduced by a total of 6 hours.

Working hours: 40: 5 * 247 - 6 = 1970 hours

Important! If the employees of the company have a rotating schedule, or the specifics of the work provide for work on holidays, then there is no need to postpone days off that fall on holidays, as prescribed by the Labor Code.

How to calculate the norm of working hours in 2018 with a six-day working week

For organizations with a five-day and six-day working week the calculation process is the same.

Attention! Companies with a six-day working week calculate the norm of working hours in 2018 on a five-day basis.

However, if you multiply working days by working hours, then the resulting number of working hours per month for a six-day week may not correspond to the number of working hours per month for a five-day week.

For example: Let's take October 2018. The norm of working hours this month for a five-day week is set at 184 hours.

And what happens with a six-day week: (23 weekdays * 7 working hours) + (4 Saturdays * 5 working hours) \u003d 181 hours.

What to do with discrepancies? You don't need to do anything with them. This is just a purely arithmetic discrepancy. According to Article 129, Article 99 and Article 91 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, where the concepts of salary and overtime work, these discrepancies cannot affect the employee's salary in any way. But the accountant of a firm with a six-day schedule must keep accurate data.
